How to cook Pininyahang Manok the simplest way

Ang tagal ko na'ng nagke-crave sa pininyahang manok.  It's been three months since the last time it touched my taste buds.

Well, let me share the steps on how to cook it.  Pretty easy dude.  You may want to give it a try.

I'll post a pic kapag nakapagluto ako nito.

What do we need?

1 kilo of chicken meat
cooking oil
crushed garlic
2pcs onion cut into cubes
pepper (fine grind)
1 small can of del Monte pineapple chunks
1 small can of Alaska evap (yung color red)
fish sauce (patis)
1 pc bell pepper (sliced vertically)

Okay, first, of course, wash the chicken meat. :)

Put some cooking oil in the cooking pan, wait until it's hot then put the garlic followed by the onion.  Okay, ilagay ang manok at haluin.

Halo..

Halo..

Halo..

You'll see na medyo magiiba na ang kulay ng ating chicken dahil naluluto na so halo lang until 3 mins.  Ilagay ang patis and let the chicken meat absorb it and to make this happen, cover the cooking pan after ilagay ang patis.  Leave it covered for 5 minutes, haluin, then ilagay ang sabaw ng pineapple chunks.

Cover again the pan. Wait for 5 minutes.  Check the chicken meat if malambot na and malapit na'ng matuyo yung sabaw ng pineapple chunks and patis.  If you see that, ilagay ang milk then haluin. Lastly, ilagay ang bell pepper. haluin for 3 minutes then turn the fire off and there you have it!

May yummy pininyahang manok ka na!:)

make sure it's creamy

**Note: Best served when hot with hot rice and patis na may sili.. :)
