Well if you guys want to experience the Jelly Bean Conversation look for your xperia mini but you can't let go of the stock rom installed on your phone, we've got a solution for you.

I've tried to search for an .apk file for this "jb conversation" but I actually failed to find one.  But thanks to xda's saqib nazm and erorcun for giving us this ported JB Conversation.  Yeah, yeah, the dual panel UI is all in our hands! Weeeeehhhh! - "DUAL PANEL UI"

Yes, you read it right. We'll get the dual panel look on our messaging given that our phone (xperia Mini) has a small screen.

Make sure that your phone's rooted and you have the CWM installed.

(Shall you need assistance with rooting or on how to get the CWM? You can post a comment below so I could provide the procedure for you.)

Going back.. Once you have your phone rooted and have installed the CWM, you need to get the .zip file that you need to flash. You need to go to the xda page about the Zelly Cream Rom (Thanks to saqib nazm for this wonderful Rom).  Once on the site, scroll down the page until you see this box.  You will see the JB conversation (inside the red box).  Click on it and download the file.  It's less than 2MB though.

Now, save the .zip file on your SD card and put your phone into CWM mode - turn the phone off then turn it back on. while the phone is booting, keep on pressing the volume down until you reach the CWM mode.  select install .zip file then select the JB conversation. once done and installed, select reboot system then wait until your phone's on.

You can now enjoy the ported Jelly Bean conversation while enjoying the original ICS rom. :)

Oh, guys, since I've been insistent to find an .apk file, I finally found one. Still, on xda, it's called "Xperia JB Conversations for ICS" and that's where I got the screenshot.  To get this .apk file, you may go to this link and follow the instructions.  Thanks erorcun of xda for this wonderful work and to Till-Kruspe for the screenshot.
