Nice view of the field from the trail to Mt. Batulao
Good Morning Mt. Batulao - view from Peak 3

New trail as seen from the Mt. Batulao's summit

Just so you know, there are residents who sell buko juice, softdrinks and some chips at the summit for refreshment.

**NOTE:  One of my colleagues brought a car so forgive me if I can't provide you a good computation here.  One thing's for sure, I'll visit Mt. Batulao again climb it and give you the exact fare expenses (without the private wheels).

We rode on my co-climber's car from Taguig to Filinvest Alabang and from there, was a rented jeepney that took us to Nasugbu.  We're total of 8 persons, by the way.

Budget Check:

Budget:
P500.00

Expenses:
P  45.00 (FX from Cainta to Kalayaan, Makati and had a walk going to Taguig to meet co-climbers)
+ P250.00 (pay/pax for a rented jeepney from Alabang to Nasugbu - roundtrip)
+ P  50.00 (pay/person for guide)
= P345.00 (Expenses from Cainta to Nasugbu, Batangas)

P 45.00 (FX from Kalayaan to Cainta Junction)

P345.00 + P45.00 = P390.00
TOTAL EXPENSES: P390.00

P500.00 - P390.00 = P110.00

Change: P110.00

I don't know if I can still call this trip "SULIT" because after the rental and my friend's cab, I still spent P390.00. And that made me think to visit Mt. Batulao again - go there with regular traspo (buses and jeepneys) and enjoy the lovely view from the summit.  However, that climb was the best climb that I made not just because it's my first mountain but I met a lot of friends and learned to appreciate the nature.
